“परमेश्वरको आशीर्वादले धन सम्पत्ति ल्याउँछ अनि उहाँले यसमा कष्टहरू थप्नु हुन्न”
“The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.”
3. विश्वासद्वारा हामी बुझ्दछौं कि परमेश्वरले आफ्नो आदेशद्वारा यो संसारको सृष्टि गर्नुभयो। यसले हामी बुझ्दछौ जो दृश्य छ त्यो कुनै अदृश्यद्वारा बनाइएको थियो।
8. परमेश्वरले अब्राहामलाई अर्कै ठाउँको यात्रा गर्न अह्राउनु भयो जुन उहाँले उनलाई दिने वचन दिनुभएको थियो। त्यो अर्को ठाउँ कुन हो र कहाँ छ, त्यसको ज्ञान अब्राहामलाई थिएन। तर परमेश्वरको आज्ञा मानेर उनले यात्रा शुरू गरे किनकि उनको विश्वास थियो।
10. अब्राहाम एउटा बलियो जग भएको नगरको प्रतीक्षामा थिए, जसलाई बनाउने र सृष्टि गर्ने परमेश्वर नै हुनुहुन्छ।
24. मोशा बढेर ठूला भए। आफ्नो विश्वासको कारणले उनले आफूलाई फिरऊनकी छोरीको छोरा कहलाउन चाहेनन्।
25. उनले पापको आनन्द मनाउन चाहेनन्। यी आनन्द क्षणिक हुन्छन्। बरू परमेश्वरका मानिसहरूसित रही कष्ट भोग्नु रूचाए। उनले यो विश्वासको कारणले गरे।
26. मोशाले मिश्रदेशको भण्डार भन्दा ख्रीष्टको लागि भोगेको दुख अझ ठूलो सम्पत्ति हो भन्ने विचार गरे। मोशाले परमेश्वरबाट पुरस्कार र्पखिरहेथे।
27. विश्वासकै कारणले उनले मिश्रदेश छोडे। उनी राजाको रिसदेखि डराएनन्। उनी डटिरहे, जस्तो कि अदृश्य परमेश्वरलाई उनी देख्नसक्छन्।
3. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
8. By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went.
10. For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
24. By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter;
25. Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;
26. Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.
27. By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.
पाठ सेर्मन
7 तपाईंको प्रिय अनुग्रह भन्दा कुनै चीज पनि बहुमूल्य छैन। मानिस जाति र स्वर्गदूतहरू तपाईंकहाँ सुरक्षाको निम्ति आउँछन्।
8 परमप्रभु! तिनीहरू तपाईंको घरमा राम्रो चीजहरूबाट नयाँ शक्ति पाउँछन्। तपाईंको आश्चर्यपूर्ण नदीबाट तिनीहरूलाई पिउन दिनु हुन्छ।
9 हे परमप्रभु! जीवनको स्रोत तपाईंबाट बहन्छ! तपाईंकै ज्योतिबाट हामी ज्योति पाउँछौं।
7 How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings.
8 They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures.
9 For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light.
14 हे परमप्रभु, म तपाईंको प्रशंसा गर्छु। तपाईंले मलाई आश्चर्यपूर्वक र अपूर्व प्रकारले बनाउनु भयो। म खुब जान्दछु कि जे तपाईंले गर्नुभयो, आश्चयपूर्ण छ।
15 तपाईं मेरो बारेमा सारा कुराहरू जान्नुहुन्छ। जब मेरो शरीरले आफ्नो रूप लिंदै बढदै गयो तपाईंले मेरो हड्डीहरू नियाल्नु भयो जुन मेरो आमाको गर्भमा लुकेको थियो।
17 तपाईंका विचारहरू मेरो निम्ति महत्वपूर्ण छन्। हे परमेश्वर, तपाईं यति विघ्न जान्नुहुन्छ!
14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
17 How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!
1 अगमवक्ताहरूका समूह मध्ये एउटाकी पत्नीले एलीशालाई यसो भनेर बिन्ती गरिन्, तपाईंको दास मेरो पति अहिले मरे। तपाईलाई थाहै छ कि उनले परमप्रभुको सम्मान गर्दथे। तर उनले एक जना मानिसको ऋण लिएका थिए। र अहिले त्यो मानिसले मेरो दुइजना छोराहरूलाई लिन र तिनीहरूलाई आफ्नो दास बनाउन आइरहेको छ।
2 एलीशाले जवाफ दिए, म कसरी तिम्रो मद्दत गर्न सक्छु? मलाई भन, तिमीसँग घरमा के छ? आइमाईले भनी, मसित घरमा केही छैन। मसित एउटा भाँडोमा भद्रक्षको तेल मात्र छ।
3 तब एलीशाले भने, जाऊ र आफ्ना सबै छिमेकहरूबाट कचौराहरू मागेर ल्याऊ। सबै कचौराहरू खाली हुनुपर्छ। धेरै कचौराहरू ल्याऊ।
4 त्यसपछि आफ्नो घर जाऊ अनि ढोकाहरू बन्द गर। तिमी र तिम्रा छोराहरू मात्र भित्र हुनेछौ। तब सबै ती भाँडाहरूमा तेल खन्याऊ। भाँडाहरू भर अनि तिनीहरूलाई बेग्लै ठाउँमा राख।
5 यसकारण आइमाई एलीशाबाट विदा लिएर आफ्नो घर गई अनि ढोका थुनी। घरभित्र ऊ र उसका छोराहरू मात्र थिए। उसका छोराहरूले उसको नजिक भाँडाहरू ल्याए अनि उसले तेल भरी।
6 उसले धेरै भाँडाहरू भरी। अन्तमा उसले आफ्नो छोरालाई भनी, मलाई अर्को भाँडा देऊ। तर सबै भाँडाहरू भरिएका थिए। छोराहरूमध्ये एक जनाले आमालाई भन्यो, अरू भाँडा छैन। त्यस बेला आँङ्खोरामा तेल सकिएको थियो।
7 तब आइमाईले परमेश्वरका जनलाई के भयो भनी। एलीशाले उसलाई भने, जाऊ, तेल बेच अनि बेचेपछि अफ्नो ऋण तिर्ने काम गर। तिमी र तिम्रा छोराहरू रहेको रूपियाँमा गुजारा गर्न सक्छौ।
1 Now there cried a certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets unto Elisha, saying, Thy servant my husband is dead; and thou knowest that thy servant did fear the Lord: and the creditor is come to take unto him my two sons to be bondmen.
2 And Elisha said unto her, What shall I do for thee? tell me, what hast thou in the house? And she said, Thine handmaid hath not any thing in the house, save a pot of oil.
3 Then he said, Go, borrow thee vessels abroad of all thy neighbours, even empty vessels; borrow not a few.
4 And when thou art come in, thou shalt shut the door upon thee and upon thy sons, and shalt pour out into all those vessels, and thou shalt set aside that which is full.
5 So she went from him, and shut the door upon her and upon her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured out.
6 And it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said unto her son, Bring me yet a vessel. And he said unto her, There is not a vessel more. And the oil stayed.
7 Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay thy debt, and live thou and thy children of the rest.
9 तिम्रो सम्पत्तिले परमप्रभुको आदर गर। तिम्रो सर्वोतमबाट परमप्रभुलाई चढाऊ।
10 त्यस पछि तिम्रो सम्पूर्ण खाँचो पूरा हुनेछ। तिम्रा ढुकुटीहरू अन्नले भरिने छन् अनि तेरा मसकबाट दाखरस पोखिरहेको हुनेछ।
9 Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:
10 So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.
23 येशूले गालीलका सबै ठाउँहरूमा यात्रा गर्नुभयो। उहाँले तिनीहरूको सभाघरहरूमा सिकाउन लाग्नुभयो अनि स्वर्गको राज्यको बारेमा सुसमाचार प्रचार गर्नुभयो। उहाँले मानिसहरूमा भएका हरेक किसिमका रोग र शारीरिक कमजोरीहरूलाई निको पार्नुभयो।
23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.
1 ... येशू डाँडामा उक्लेर बस्नुभयो। उहाँका चेलाहरू पनि उहाँको नजिक आएका थिए।
2 उहाँले तिनीहरूलाई सिकाउन थाल्नुभयो। उहाँले भन्नुभयो,

2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,
19 आफ्नो निम्ति पृथ्वीमा सम्पत्ति नथुपार। जहाँ खीया र किराहरूले सम्पत्ति ध्वंस पारिदिनेछ। अनि चोरहरूले पनि तिम्रो घर फोरेर त्यहाँको सम्पत्ति चोर्छन्।
20 तर आफ्नो निम्ति स्वर्गमा धन-सम्पत्ति थुपार। स्वर्गमा भएको धन-सम्पत्ति खीया र किराहरूले नष्ट पार्न सक्दैन। चोरले पनि त्यहाँ पसेर चोर्न सक्दैन।
21 कारण जहाँ तिम्रो धन हुन्छ, त्यहीं तिम्रो मन पनि हुनेछ।
24 कसैले पनि दुई मालिकको सेवा एकै समयमा गर्न सक्दैन। उसले एउटालाई घृणा र अर्कोलाई प्रेम गर्नेछ। अथवा त्यो एउटासित झुक्नेछ, र अर्कोलाई तुच्छ गन्नेछ। यसैले एउटै समयमा एकै साथमा तिमीहरूले परमेश्वर र धनको चाकरी गर्न सक्दैनौ।
25 बाँच्नलाई के खानु पर्ने भन्ने विषयमा तिमीहरू चिन्तित हुनु हुँदैन। तिमीलाई शरीको निम्ति चाहिने वस्त्रका विषयमा फिक्री नगर। खानेकुरा भन्दा जीवन धेरै मूल्यवान छ। अनि लुगाफाटा भन्दा शरीर धेरै मूल्यवान छ।
30 यस प्रकार परमेश्वरले जमीनमा झारपात उमारेर सजाउँनु हुन्छ। ती आज देखिन्छ भोलि आगोमा फ्याँकिनेछ र जलाइनेछन्। यसकारण परमेश्वरले नै तिमीहरूलाई अझ राम्ररी लुगाफाटा पहिराइदिनु हुनेछैन र? अल्पविश्वासी हो
31 यसर्थ फिक्री गर्दै यसो नभन, हामी के खाऔंला? वा हामी ‘के लगाउँला?
32 परमेश्वरमा विश्वास नगर्नेहरूले मात्रै यी कुराहरू पाउने इच्छा गर्दछन्। यसकारण फिक्री नगर, किनभने स्वर्गमा बस्नुहुने पिताले तिमीहरूलाई यी सबै थोकको आवश्यक छ भनी जान्नुहुन्छ।
33 तिमीहरू अरू थोकभन्दा परमेश्वरको राज्य र उहाँको धार्मिकताको विषयमा इच्छा गर। तब उहाँले तिमीहरूलाई तिमीहरूले चाहेका यी जम्मै कुराहरू दिनुहुनेछ।
34 जसद्वारा भोलिको निम्ति तिमीहरूले त्यत्ति फिक्री गर्नु पर्ने छैन, प्रत्येक दिनमा आ-आफ्नै समस्या हुन्छ। भोलिको दिनको पनि आफ्नै समस्याहरू छ।
19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself.
1 हामी जान्दछौं, यस धरतीमा हामी जुन तम्बूमा बस्छौं त्यो नष्ट हुनेछ। तर जब त्यो नष्ट हुनेछ, हामीले बस्ने घर परमेश्वरबाट पाउनछौं। त्यो घर मानिसले बनाएको होइन। यो घर स्वर्गमा हुन्छ र अनन्त रहनेछ।
2 हामीलाई हाम्रो वर्तमान घरमा वाक्क दिक्क लागिसकेको छ अनि स्वर्गीय घर पाउने इच्छा गरिरहेका छौं अनि परमेश्वरले हामीलाई दिनु हुनेछ।
3 त्यो हामीलाई पहिरयाई दिइनेछ र हामी नाङ्गो हुने छैनौं।
4 जतिञ्जेल हामी यस शरीष्ठ्वरमा बस्छौं, हामी चिन्तारग्रस्त छौं, र गन्गनाउँछौं। मेरो भनाईको अर्थ यो होइन कि हामी यस घरलाई छोडन चाहन्छौं तर हामी हाम्रो स्वर्गीय घरमा जान चाहन्छौं अनि जब यो शरीरको अन्त हुन्छ यो जीवनले ढाकिने छ।
5 परमेश्वरले हामीलाई यसैको लागि सृष्टि गर्नु भएको छ। अनि उहाँले वाचा स्वरूप हामीलाई आत्मा दिनु भएको छ ताकि उहाँले हामीलाई नयाँ जीवन दिनु हुनेछ।
6 यसैकारण हामी सँधै भरोशामा छौं। हामी जान्दछौं कि जति समय सम्म हामी यस शरीरमा रहन्छौं, हामी प्रभुबाट टाढा हुन्छौं।
7 हामी विश्वासको मार्ग दर्शनमा बाँचेका छौं-जे देख्छौं त्यसले होइन।
8 त्यसैले त म भन्छु हाम्रो भरोसा छ। अनि वास्तवमा हामी यस शरीरबाट टाढा रहन इच्छा गर्छौं अनि प्रभु जहाँ हुनुहुन्छ त्यही बस्न खोज्छौं।
9 हाम्रो उद्देश्य परमेश्वरलाई सन्तुष्ट पार्नु हो। यस शरीष्ठ्वरमा रहौं अथवा प्रभुसित रहौं हामी उहाँलाई सन्तुष्ट पार्न चाहन्छौं।
1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:
3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.
5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit.
6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.
1 जब तिमीहरू मृत्युबाट ख्रीष्टसितै उठायौ स्वर्गका ती वस्तुहरू पाउने कोशिशगर जहाँ परमेश्वरको दाहिने तर्फ ख्रीष्टलाई बसाइएकोछ।
2 स्वर्गकै कुराहरू मात्र सोच, पार्थिव होइन।
1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
28 हामी जान्दछौं कि परमेश्वरले प्रत्येक कुरामा तिनीहरूको भलाईको लागि गर्नुहुन्छ जसले उहाँलाई प्रेम गर्दछ। ती मानिसहरू हुन् जसलाई परमेश्वरले बोलाउनु भयो किनभने त्यो उहाँकै योजना थियो।
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
प्रश्न। — पदार्थ भनेको के हो?
उत्तर। — पदार्थ भनेको त्यो हो जुन अनन्त छ र कलह र क्षय हुन सक्दैन। सत्य, जीवन र प्रेम पदार्थ हुन्, जसरी धर्मशास्त्रले हिब्रूमा यो शब्द प्रयोग गर्दछ: "आशा गरिएका चीजहरूको पदार्थ, नदेखिने चीजहरूको प्रमाण।" आत्मा, मन, आत्मा, वा ईश्वरको पर्यायवाची शब्द, एक मात्र वास्तविक पदार्थ हो। आध्यात्मिक ब्रह्माण्ड, व्यक्तिगत मानिस सहित, एक संयुक्त विचार हो, जसले आत्माको दिव्य पदार्थलाई प्रतिबिम्बित गर्दछ।
Question. — What is substance?
Answer. — Substance is that which is eternal and incapable of discord and decay. Truth, Life, and Love are substance, as the Scriptures use this word in Hebrews: "The substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Spirit, the synonym of Mind, Soul, or God, is the only real substance. The spiritual universe, including individual man, is a compound idea, reflecting the divine substance of Spirit.
देवता गठन गर्ने पदार्थ, जीवन, बुद्धि, सत्य र प्रेम उहाँको सृष्टिद्वारा प्रतिबिम्बित हुन्छन्; र जब हामी भौतिक इन्द्रियहरूको झूटो गवाहीलाई विज्ञानको तथ्यहरूको अधीनमा राख्छौं, हामी यो साँचो समानता र प्रतिबिम्ब जताततै देख्नेछौं।
The substance, Life, intelligence, Truth, and Love, which constitute Deity, are reflected by His creation; and when we subordinate the false testimony of the corporeal senses to the facts of Science, we shall see this true likeness and reflection everywhere.
मानिस जस्तै ब्रह्माण्डलाई पनि विज्ञानले यसको दिव्य सिद्धान्त, ईश्वरबाट व्याख्या गर्नुपर्छ, र त्यसपछि यसलाई बुझ्न सकिन्छ; तर जब भौतिक ज्ञानको आधारमा व्याख्या गरिन्छ र वृद्धि, परिपक्वता र क्षयको विषयको रूपमा प्रतिनिधित्व गरिन्छ, मानिस जस्तै ब्रह्माण्ड पनि एक रहस्य हो, र रहनुपर्छ।
आत्मा सबै चीजहरूको जीवन, पदार्थ र निरन्तरता हो।
The universe, like man, is to be interpreted by Science from its divine Principle, God, and then it can be understood; but when explained on the basis of physical sense and represented as subject to growth, maturity, and decay, the universe, like man, is, and must continue to be, an enigma.
Spirit is the life, substance, and continuity of all things.
आत्मा दिव्य विज्ञानद्वारा मान्यता प्राप्त एक मात्र पदार्थ र चेतना हो। भौतिक इन्द्रियहरूले यसको विरोध गर्छन्, तर भौतिक इन्द्रियहरू छैनन्, किनकि पदार्थको कुनै मन हुँदैन। आत्मामा कुनै पदार्थ हुँदैन, जसरी सत्यमा कुनै त्रुटि हुँदैन, र राम्रोमा कुनै खराब हुँदैन। यो एक झूटो धारणा हो, वास्तविक पदार्थ-पदार्थ छ भन्ने धारणा, आत्माको विपरीत। आत्मा, ईश्वर, अनन्त छ, सबै। आत्माको कुनै विपरीत हुन सक्दैन।

Spirit is the only substance and consciousness recognized by divine Science. The material senses oppose this, but there are no material senses, for matter has no mind. In Spirit there is no matter, even as in Truth there is no error, and in good no evil. It is a false supposition, the notion that there is real substance-matter, the opposite of Spirit. Spirit, God, is infinite, all. Spirit can have no opposite.
That matter is substantial or has life and sensation, is one of the false beliefs of mortals, and exists only in a supposititious mortal consciousness. Hence, as we approach Spirit and Truth, we lose the consciousness of matter. The admission that there can be material substance requires another admission, — namely, that Spirit is not infinite and that matter is self-creative, self-existent, and eternal. From this it would follow that there are two eternal causes, warring forever with each other; and yet we say that Spirit is supreme and all-presence.
ईश्वर पदार्थ हो र मानिस दिव्य स्वरूप र समानता हो, त्यसैले मानिसले चाहनु पर्छ, र वास्तवमा, केवल भलाइको पदार्थ, आत्माको पदार्थ हुन्छ, पदार्थ होइन। मानिससँग कुनै अन्य पदार्थ, वा मन छ भन्ने विश्वास आध्यात्मिक होइन र पहिलो आज्ञा, तिमीसँग एउटै ईश्वर, एउटै मन हुनुपर्छ भन्ने कुरालाई तोड्छ। नश्वर मानिस आफूलाई भौतिक पदार्थ जस्तो लाग्छ, जबकि मानिस "प्रतिमा" (विचार) हो। भ्रम, पाप, रोग र मृत्यु भौतिक भावनाको झूटो गवाहीबाट उत्पन्न हुन्छन्, जुन, अनन्त आत्माको केन्द्रीय दूरी बाहिरको अनुमानित दृष्टिकोणबाट, सबै कुरा उल्टो पारिएको मन र पदार्थको उल्टो छवि प्रस्तुत गर्दछ।
As God is substance and man is the divine image and likeness, man should wish for, and in reality has, only the substance of good, the substance of Spirit, not matter. The belief that man has any other substance, or mind, is not spiritual and breaks the First Commandment, Thou shalt have one God, one Mind. Mortal man seems to himself to be material substance, while man is "image" (idea). Delusion, sin, disease, and death arise from the false testimony of material sense, which, from a supposed standpoint outside the focal distance of infinite Spirit, presents an inverted image of Mind and substance with everything turned upside down.

In divine Science, man is sustained by God, the divine Principle of being. The earth, at God's command, brings forth food for man's use. Knowing this, Jesus once said, "Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink," — presuming not on the prerogative of his creator, but recognizing God, the Father and Mother of all, as able to feed and clothe man as He doth the lilies.

Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need. It is not well to imagine that Jesus demonstrated the divine power to heal only for a select number or for a limited period of time, since to all mankind and in every hour, divine Love supplies all good.
The miracle of grace is no miracle to Love. Jesus demonstrated the inability of corporeality, as well as the infinite ability of Spirit, thus helping erring human sense to flee from its own convictions and seek safety in divine Science.

The belief that God lives in matter is pantheistic. The error, which says that Soul is in body, Mind is in matter, and good is in evil, must unsay it and cease from such utterances; else God will continue to be hidden from humanity, and mortals will sin without knowing that they are sinning, will lean on matter instead of Spirit, stumble with lameness, drop with drunkenness, consume with disease, — all because of their blindness, their false sense concerning God and man.

Soul has infinite resources with which to bless mankind, and happiness would be more readily attained and would be more secure in our keeping, if sought in Soul. Higher enjoyments alone can satisfy the cravings of immortal man. We cannot circumscribe happiness within the limits of personal sense. The senses confer no real enjoyment.

In the infinitude of Mind, matter must be unknown. … All things beautiful and harmless are ideas of Mind. Mind creates and multiplies them, and the product must be mental.
The only excuse for entertaining human opinions and rejecting the Science of being is our mortal ignorance of Spirit, — ignorance which yields only to the understanding of divine Science, the understanding by which we enter into the kingdom of Truth on earth and learn that Spirit is infinite and supreme.

Human capacity is slow to discern and to grasp God's creation and the divine power and presence which go with it, demonstrating its spiritual origin. Mortals can never know the infinite, until they throw off the old man and reach the spiritual image and likeness. What can fathom infinity! How shall we declare Him, till, in the language of the apostle, "we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ"?

Man understands spiritual existence in proportion as his treasures of Truth and Love are enlarged. Mortals must gravitate Godward, their affections and aims grow spiritual, — they must near the broader interpretations of being, and gain some proper sense of the infinite, — in order that sin and mortality may be put off.
This scientific sense of being, forsaking matter for Spirit, by no means suggests man's absorption into Deity and the loss of his identity, but confers upon man enlarged individuality, a wider sphere of thought and action, a more expansive love, a higher and more permanent peace.
