“हो, परमेश्वरले संसारलाई यति साह्रो प्रेम गर्नुभयो, कि उहाँले आफ्ना एकमात्र पुत्रलाई दिनु भयो। परमेश्वरले आफ्ना पुत्रलाई दिनु भयो त्यस द्वारा उहाँमाथि विश्वास गर्ने कोहीपनि नाश हुने छैन, तर अनन्त जीवन प्राप्त गर्नेछ।”
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
5. अहँ, मेरो हिस्सा र मेरो कचौरा परमप्रभुबाट नै कपादान हुन्छ। हे परमप्रभु, तपाईं मेरो सहारा हुनुहुन्छ, तपाईंले मेरो भाग प्रदान गर्नुहुन्छ।
6. मेरो भाग आश्चर्यपूर्ण छ, मेरो उत्तराधिकार अति सुन्दर छ।
7. म परमप्रभुको प्रशंसा गर्छु, किनभने उहाँले मलाई असल कुरा सिकाउनु भएको छ। राती पनि, मलाई आन्तरिक अर्ती दिनुहुन्छ।
8. परमप्रभुलाई मैले सधैं आफू समक्ष राखेको छु र म उहाँको दाहिने तिरबाट कहिल्यै सर्ने छुइनँ।
9. मेरो हृदय र आत्मा यसैले आनन्दित हुनेछ। अनि मेरो शरीर पनि सुरक्षित रहनेछ।
10. किन? किनभने परमप्रभु, तपाईंले मलाई चिहानमाछोडनु हुनेछैन। तपाईंले आफ्नो आज्ञाकारी भक्तजनलाई चिहानमा त्यसै कूहुन दिनुहुने छैन।
11. तपाईं मलाई बाँच्ने सही बाटो सिकाउनु हुनेछ। तपाईंसँग हुँदा सम्पूर्ण खुशी प्राप्त हुनेछ। तपाईको दाहिनेपट्टि हुँदा सघैं खुशी प्राप्त हुनेछ।
5. The Lord is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.
6. The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.
7. I will bless the Lord, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons.
8. I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
9. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.
10. For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
11. Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.
पाठ सेर्मन
1 येशूले यी सबैकुरा भनिसकेपछि आफ्ना चेलाहरूलाई भन्नुभयो,
2 तिमीहरूलाई थाहै छ दुइ दिनपछि निस्तार-चाड शुरू हुनेछ। त्यसै दिन मानिको पुत्रलाई क्रूसमा टाग्नलाई शत्रुहरू कहाँ सुम्पिइनेछ।
1 And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these sayings, he said unto his disciples,
2 Ye know that after two days is the feast of the passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified.
13 यहूदीहरूको निस्तार चाडअति नजिक थियो। अतः येशू यरूशलेमतर्फ जानु भयो।
14 यरूशलेममा येशू मन्दिर तर्फ जानु भयो। उहाँले मन्दिरमा मानिसहरूले गाई-गोरू, भेंडा अनि परेवाहरू बेच्दै गरेको देख्नु भयो। अन्य मानिसहरू टेबलमाथि बसिरहेको देख्नु भयो। तिनीहरू लेनदेन र मानिसको पैसाको व्यपार गरिरहेका थिए।
15 येशूले केही डोरीका टुक्राहरूलिएर कोर्रा बनाउनुभयो। तब जम्मै ती मानिसहरूलाई भेंडा र गाई सहित मन्दिर बाहिर क्षेत्रवाट लघार्नु भयो। येशूले लेनदेन गरिएको पैसा छरपष्ट पार्दै टेबल उल्टाई दिनुभयो।
16 येशूले ती ढुकुरह्ररू बेच्नेहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, यी चीजहरू यहाँबाट लगेर गइहाल। मेरा पिताको घरलाई किनबेचको बजार जस्तो नबनाऊ।
17 यो भइसके पछि येशूका चेलाहरूले धर्माशास्त्रमा के लिखिएको थियो त्यसको सम्झना गरेः तपाईंको घरको व्यग्रताले मलाई मार्नेछ।
18 यहूदीहरूले येशूलाई भने, यी चीजहरू गर्ने तपाईंको अधिकारको प्रमाणको लागि चमत्कार देखाउनु होस्।
19 येशूले भन्नुभयो, यो मन्दिरलाई ध्वंश पार र फेरि म यसलाई तीन दिनमा बनाई दिनेछु।
21 वास्तवमा मन्दिरको संदर्भ येशूलाई आफ्नो शरीरसंग थियो।
22 मृत्युबाट उहाँ बौरी उठी सकेपछि उहाँले त्यसो भनेको कुरा उनका चेलाहरूले सम्झे। तब येशूले भन्नुभएको वचन र धर्मशास्त्रमा तिनीहरूले विश्वास गरे।
13 And the Jews’ passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem,
14 And found in the temple those that sold oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting:
15 And when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple, and the sheep, and the oxen; and poured out the changers’ money, and overthrew the tables;
16 And said unto them that sold doves, Take these things hence; make not my Father’s house an house of merchandise.
17 And his disciples remembered that it was written, The zeal of thine house hath eaten me up.
18 Then answered the Jews and said unto him, What sign shewest thou unto us, seeing that thou doest these things?
19 Jesus answered and said unto them, Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.
21 But he spake of the temple of his body.
22 When therefore he was risen from the dead, his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them; and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.
1 एका विहानै मुख्य पूजाहारीहरू यहूदी बुढा प्रधानहरू शास्त्रीहरू र सबै यहूदी महासभाले योजना बनाए। तिनीहरूले येशूलाई सांग्लोले बाँधे अनि पिलातस कहाँ पुरयाए। तिनीहरूले येशूलाई पिलातसकहाँ सुम्पिदिए।
1 And straightway in the morning the chief priests held a consultation with the elders and scribes and the whole council, and bound Jesus, and carried him away, and delivered him to Pilate.
16 तब येशूलाई क्रूसमा झुणड्याएर मार्नु भनेर पिलातसले तिनीहरूलाई सुम्पे।सिपाहीहरूले येशूलाई लगे।
17 येशूले आफ्नो क्रूस बोक्नु भयो अनि उहाँ “खोपडी ठाऊँ” तर्फ जानु भयो हिब्रू भाषामा गलगथा भनिन्छ।
18 गलगथामा येशूलाई क्रूसमा टाँगे। तिनीहरूले दुइजना मानिसहरू उहाँको दुई पट्टि अनि यशूलाई बीचमा राखे।
16 Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led him away.
17 And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha:
18 Where they crucified him.
1 हप्ताको पहिलो दिन बिहानै मरियम मग्दलिनी येशूको चिहानमा गई। तिनले देखिन कि त्यो ठूलो चट्टान जो चिहानको द्वारमा राखिएको थियो त्यो ढुंगा हाटाइएको थियो।
2 यसैले मरियम शिमोन पत्रुस र अन्य चेलाहरूकहाँ गई (जसलाई येशूले धेरै माया गर्नुहुन्थ्यो।) मरियमले तिनीहरूलाई भनिन, तिनीहरूले प्रभुको देहलाई चिहानबाट लगेछन्। हामी जान्दैनौ तिनीहरूले उहाँलाई कहाँ राखेका छन्।
3 यसकारण पत्रुस र अर्को चेला चिहानमा जानलागे।
5 चेलाले निहुरिएर तलतिर हेरे। तिनीहरूले सूती लुगाको टुक्राहरू मात्र त्यहाँ रहेको देखे, तिनीहरू भित्र झरेनन्।
8 त्यसपछि अर्को चेला पनि पस्यो। यो मानिस अघि चिहानमा पहिलो पुग्ने चेला थियो। तिनले भित्र पुगेर जे देखे त्यो विश्वास गरे।
9 ती चेलाहरूले अझ बुझेका थिएनन कि धर्मशास्त्रले भनेकोछ कि येशू मृत्युबाट जागी उठ्नै पर्छ।
11 तर मरियम चिहानकै बाहिर उभिएर रोइरही। जब रोई रहेकी थिइन् चिनहान भित्र हेर्नु तिनी निहुरिन्।
12 मरियमले सेतो वस्त्रमा दुई स्वर्गदूतहरू देखी । तिनीहरू जहाँ येशूको टाउँकोपट्टी र अर्को स्वर्गदूत येशूको खुट्टापट्टी बसिरहेका थिए।
13 स्वर्गदूतहरूले मरियमलाई सोधे, हे! नारी! किन रोईरहेकी छौ?”मरियमले जवाफ दिइन, कसैले मेरा प्रभुको शरीर लगेर गएछ। तिनीहरूले कहाँ राखेका छन् मलाई थाहा छैन।
14 मरियमले यति भनिसकेर जब र्फकिन उनले उहाँलाई त्यहाँ उभिरहनु भएको देखिन्। तर तिनले येशू भनेर चिनिनन्।
16 येशूले उसलाई भन्नुभयो, हे मरियम। मरियम येशू तर्फ फर्की र यहूदी भाषामा उसलाई भनी, रब्बोनी।
19 हप्ताको पहिलो दिन थियो। चेलाहरू त्यो बलुकी भेला भएका थिए। यहूदीहरूको डरले दैलोहरू बन्द थियो। तब येशू आउनु भयो र तिनीहरूका सामुने उभिनु भयो। येशूले भन्नुभयो शान्ति तिमीहरूसँग रहोस्।
21 त्यसपछि येशूले फेरि भन्नुभयो, शान्ति तिमीहरूसंग रहोस्। पिताले मलाई पठानु भयो। त्यस्तै प्रकारले अब म तिमीहरूलाई पठाइरहेछु।
22 यती भनिसके पछि, येशूले चेलाहरूमाथि श्वास फुकेर भन्नुभयो, पवित्र आत्मा लेओ।
1 The first day of the week cometh Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the sepulchre, and seeth the stone taken away from the sepulchre.
2 Then she runneth, and cometh to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and saith unto them, They have taken away the Lord out of the sepulchre, and we know not where they have laid him.
3 Peter therefore went forth, and that other disciple, and came to the sepulchre.
5 And he stooping down, and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying;
8 Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed.
9 For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.
11 But Mary stood without at the sepulchre weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the sepulchre,
12 And seeth two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.
13 And they say unto her, Woman, why weepest thou? She saith unto them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I know not where they have laid him.
14 And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus.
16 Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.
19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.
21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:
6 प्रेरितहरू जम्मा भए। तिनीरूले येशूलाई सोधे, हे प्रभु के यो इस्राएललाई राज्य फेरि फिर्ता दिने तपाईंको समय यही हो?
7 येशूले तिनीहरूलाई भन्नुभयो, पिता मात्र एक हुनुहुन्छ जसको मिति र समयहरू निर्णय गर्ने अधिकार छ। तिमीहरू यी कुराहरू बारे जान्न सक्तैनौ।
8 तर पवित्र आत्मा तिमीमाथि आउनु हुनेछ अनि तिमीहरूले शक्ति पाउनेछौ। तिमीहरू मानिसहरूबीच मेरो गवाही हुनेछौ। पहिले तिमीहरू यरूशलेमका मानिसहरूका निम्ति गवाही हुनेछौ। तब तिमीहरूले यहूदियामा, सामरियामा अनि संसारका प्रत्येक ठाउँका मानिसहरूलाई बताउनेछौ।
9 येशूले प्रेरितहरूलाई ती कुराहरू भनिसके पछि उहाँ माथि आकाश सम्म उचालिनु भयो। प्रेरितहरूले हेर्दा हेर्दै येशू बादलभित्र पस्नु भयो अनि तिनीहरूले उहाँलाई देख्न सकेनन्।
6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?
7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.
8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judæa, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
1 ख्रीष्ट येशूको एक प्रेरित पावलबाट।
8 यसकारण हाम्रा प्रभु येशूको बारेमा मानिसहरूलाई भन्न नलजाऊ। अनि म कैदमा छु भनेर पनि लाज नमान। तर सुसमाचारको निम्ति मसित दुःख भोग्ने गर। त्यसो गर्न परमेश्वरले हामीलाई शक्ति दिनु हुन्छ।
9 परमेश्वरले हामीलाई बचाउनु भएको छ अनि हामीलाई आफ्ना पवित्र मानिस तुल्य बनाउनु भएको छ। यो हामीले केही गरेर भएको होइन। होइन, परमेश्वरले यो उहाँको इच्छा अनि अनुग्रहले गर्दा हामीलाई बचाउँनु भयो अनि उहाँको मानिस हुन आह्वान गर्नु भयो। यो अनुग्रह ख्रीष्ट येशूद्वारा हामीलाई अनादिकाल अघि दिइएको थियो।
10 त्यो अनुग्रह हामीलाई आज सम्म देखाइएको थिएन। हाम्रो मुक्तिदाता ख्रीष्ट येशू आउनु भए पछि त्यो देखाइयो। येशूले मृत्युलाई नष्ट गर्नु भयो र जीवनको मार्ग देखाऊनु भयो। हो सुसमाचारद्वारा येशूले हामीलाई अनन्तजीवनको त्यो मार्ग देखाउनु भयो।
1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God,
8 Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;
9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,
10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:
1 योयेशू ख्रीष्टको अभिमानिस हो। परमश्वरले येशूलाई यी कुराहरु, अब चाँडै जे घट्नेवाला छ सो उनका सेवकहरुलाई दर्शाउनका निम्ति प्रदान गर्नुभयो। ख्रीष्टले आफ्ना सेवक यूहन्नालाई यी कुराहरु दर्शाउनका निम्ति आफ्ना स्वर्गदूत पठाउँनु भयो।
18 म नै एक हुँ जो बाँचेको छु। नडराउ। म नै आदि अनि अन्त हुँ। एक जो जीवीत छु म नै हुँ। म मरेको थिएँ। तर हेर, म सदा-सर्वदाको लागि जीवित छु।
1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen;
19 ...तिमीहरू बाँच्नेछौं किनभने म बाँच्छु।
19 …because I live, ye shall live also.
"यो अनन्त जीवन हो," येशू भन्नुहुन्छ, - छ, हुनेछैन; र त्यसपछि उहाँले अनन्त जीवनलाई उहाँको पिता र उहाँको बारेमा वर्तमान ज्ञानको रूपमा परिभाषित गर्नुहुन्छ, - प्रेम, सत्य र जीवनको ज्ञान। "यो अनन्त जीवन हो, ताकि तिनीहरूले तपाईंलाई, एकमात्र साँचो परमेश्वरलाई, र तपाईंले पठाउनुभएको येशू ख्रीष्टलाई चिनून्।" धर्मशास्त्रले भन्छ, "मानिस रोटीले मात्र बाँच्दैन, तर परमेश्वरको मुखबाट निस्कने हरेक वचनले बाँच्नेछ," सत्य नै मानिसको वास्तविक जीवन हो भनेर देखाउँदै; तर मानवजातिले यो शिक्षालाई व्यावहारिक बनाउन आपत्ति जनाउँछ।
"This is life eternal," says Jesus, — is, not shall be; and then he defines everlasting life as a present knowledge of his Father and of himself, — the knowledge of Love, Truth, and Life. "This is life eternal, that they might know Thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom Thou hast sent." The Scriptures say, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God," showing that Truth is the actual life of man; but mankind objects to making this teaching practical.
प्रश्न: — जीवन के हो?
उत्तर दिनुहोस्: — जीवन दिव्य सिद्धान्त हो, मन, आत्मा, आत्मा। जीवन सुरुवात बिनाको छ र अन्त्य बिनाको छ। अनन्तताले, समयले होइन, जीवनको विचार व्यक्त गर्दछ, र समय अनन्तताको अंश होइन।
Question. — What is Life?
Answer. — Life is divine Principle, Mind, Soul, Spirit. Life is without beginning and without end. Eternity, not time, expresses the thought of Life, and time is no part of eternity.
जीवन दिव्य मन हो। जीवन सीमित छैन। मृत्यु र सीमितता जीवनलाई अज्ञात छन्।
Life is divine Mind. Life is not limited. Death and finiteness are unknown to Life.
हामी स्वीकार गर्छौं कि येशूको क्रूसमा टाँगिएको मृत्यु र उहाँको पुनरुत्थानले अनन्त जीवन, आत्मा, आत्माको पूर्णता र पदार्थको शून्यतालाई पनि बुझ्नको लागि विश्वासलाई उत्थान गर्न काम गर्यो।
We acknowledge that the crucifixion of Jesus and his resurrection served to uplift faith to understand eternal Life, even the allness of Soul, Spirit, and the nothingness of matter.
मृत्युमाथिको सबै विश्वास र त्यसको डंकको डर त्याग्दा स्वास्थ्य र नैतिकताको स्तर यसको वर्तमान उचाइभन्दा धेरै माथि उठ्नेछ, र हामीलाई ईश्वरमा, अनन्त जीवनमा अटल विश्वासका साथ ईसाई धर्मको झण्डा माथि उठाउन सक्षम बनाउनेछ।
The relinquishment of all faith in death and also of the fear of its sting would raise the standard of health and morals far beyond its present elevation, and would enable us to hold the banner of Christianity aloft with unflinching faith in God, in Life eternal.
हाम्रा गुरु आफ्ना विद्यार्थीहरूकहाँ पुन: देखा पर्नुभयो, - उनीहरूको आशंकामा, उहाँ चिहानबाट बौरी उठ्नुभयो, - आफ्नो आरोहण विचारको तेस्रो दिनमा, र यसरी उनीहरूलाई अनन्त जीवनको निश्चित अनुभूति प्रस्तुत गर्नुभयो।
Our Master reappeared to his students, — to their apprehension he rose from the grave, — on the third day of his ascending thought, and so presented to them the certain sense of eternal Life.

The Jews, who sought to kill this man of God, showed plainly that their material views were the parents of their wicked deeds. When Jesus spoke of reproducing his body, — knowing, as he did, that Mind was the builder, — and said, "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up," they thought that he meant their material temple instead of his body. To such materialists, the real man seemed a spectre, unseen and unfamiliar, and the body, which they laid in a sepulchre, seemed to be substance. This materialism lost sight of the true Jesus; but the faithful Mary saw him, and he presented to her, more than ever before, the true idea of Life and substance.
Because of mortals' material and sinful belief, the spiritual Jesus was imperceptible to them. The higher his demonstration of divine Science carried the problem of being, and the more distinctly he uttered the demands of its divine Principle, Truth and Love, the more odious he became to sinners and to those who, depending on doctrines and material laws to save them from sin and sickness, were submissive to death as being in supposed accord with the inevitable law of life. Jesus proved them wrong by his resurrection, and said: "Whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die."
येशूको आध्यात्मिक उत्पत्ति र बुझाइले उहाँलाई अस्तित्वका तथ्यहरू प्रदर्शन गर्न सक्षम बनायो - आध्यात्मिक सत्यले भौतिक त्रुटिलाई कसरी नष्ट गर्छ, रोग निको पार्छ र मृत्युलाई कसरी जित्छ भनेर अकाट्य रूपमा प्रमाणित गर्न।
Jesus' spiritual origin and understanding enabled him to demonstrate the facts of being, — to prove irrefutably how spiritual Truth destroys material error, heals sickness, and overcomes death.

The Master said plainly that physique was not Spirit, and after his resurrection he proved to the physical senses that his body was not changed until he himself ascended, — or, in other words, rose even higher in the understanding of Spirit, God.
Jesus' unchanged physical condition after what seemed to be death was followed by his exaltation above all material conditions; and this exaltation explained his ascension, and revealed unmistakably a probationary and progressive state beyond the grave. Jesus was "the way;" that is, he marked the way for all men. In his final demonstration, called the ascension, which closed the earthly record of Jesus, he rose above the physical knowledge of his disciples, and the material senses saw him no more.
His students then received the Holy Ghost. By this is meant, that by all they had witnessed and suffered, they were roused to an enlarged understanding of divine Science, even to the spiritual interpretation and discernment of Jesus' teachings and demonstrations, which gave them a faint conception of the Life which is God.

Through all the disciples experienced, they became more spiritual and understood better what the Master had taught. His resurrection was also their resurrection. It helped them to raise themselves and others from spiritual dulness and blind belief in God into the perception of infinite possibilities. They needed this quickening, for soon their dear Master would rise again in the spiritual realm of reality, and ascend far above their apprehension. As the reward for his faithfulness, he would disappear to material sense in that change which has since been called the ascension.

In our age Christianity is again demonstrating the power of divine Principle, as it did over nineteen hundred years ago, by healing the sick and triumphing over death.
In the sacred sanctuary of Truth are voices of solemn import, but we heed them not. It is only when the so-called pleasures and pains of sense pass away in our lives, that we find unquestionable signs of the burial of error and the resurrection to spiritual life.

Truth will be to us "the resurrection and the life" only as it destroys all error and the belief that Mind, the only immortality of man, can be fettered by the body, and Life be controlled by death.
To mortal mind, matter is substantial, and evil is real.
This carnal material mentality, misnamed mind, is mortal. Therefore man would be annihilated, were it not for the spiritual real man's indissoluble connection with his God, which Jesus brought to light. In his resurrection and ascension, Jesus showed that a mortal man is not the real essence of manhood, and that this unreal material mortality disappears in presence of the reality.
सत्य प्रमाणित हुन्छ अनन्त जीवन।
